Tour Terms & Conditions

These general conditions of contract govern the contractual relationship between you (the "Client") and Yellow Wine Adventures GmbH, Malzagasse 7A, 4052 Basel, Switzerland.
A contract is concluded once Yellow Wine Adventures GmbH has confirmed a booking in writing (via email or our online booking system).Services offered by Yellow Wine Adventures GmbH are subject to Swiss Law. The place of jurisdiction for all disputes arising out of or in connection with this contract is Basel, Switzerland.

Individuals/Day Tours: Full payment is required after receiving the invoice, 7 days previous to the tour date, via credit card or bank transfer.
Large Groups & Multi-Day Tours: A 30% deposit of the total price is required to confirm the booking. The remaining balance must be settled in accordance with the invoice terms, typically no later than 7 days before the tour, when the second invoice is sent via email.
Payments must be made in CHF (Swiss Francs) unless otherwise agreed upon.

Single Day Tours: You may cancel without penalty up to 24 hours before the scheduled start time. Cancellations must be made via email or telephone. Full refund provided (in case of credit card payment, we will discount from the service cost the transaction fees already computed by the Gateway payment system)
Multi-Day or large groups reservations: More than 15 days before the tour: Cancellation is free of charge; the 30% deposit will be fully refunded.
15 days to 24 hours before the tour: The 30% deposit is retained by Yellow Wine Adventures GmbH as compensation.
Less than 24 hours before the tour: The full amount (100%) of the booked service is due and non-refundable.
Exceptions: Cancellation fees may be waived at the company's discretion in cases of documented medical emergencies or "proven unsuitable weather conditions" that render the activity unsafe for all participants.

No Provided Insurance: Yellow Wine Adventures GmbH does not provide personal accident, health, or theft insurance.
Personal Liability: By booking, the Client acknowledges that their own Civil Liability (Privathaftpflicht) is engaged for any damage caused to third parties, equipment, or properties during the tour.
Recommendations: We strongly recommend that all participants hold valid personal accident insurance and a travel insurance policy that covers cancellations and theft of personal property during the tour.

Equipment Responsibility: The Client is responsible for the equipment provided (bikes, helmets). In the case of damage or theft due to negligence, the Client will be charged for the repair or replacement value.
Safety Gear: For all bike-based adventures, helmets are provided free of charge. Use is mandatory for children under 12 and strongly recommended for all adults.
Excess Alcohol Consumption: Participants are expected to taste responsibly and to pace themselves. Spittoms and water provided at winery visits. Yellow Wine Adventures GmbH reserves the right to exclude any participant from the tour (particularly bike-related sections) if their behaviour or level of intoxication poses a risk to themselves or others. No refund will be issued in such cases.

We reserve the right to alter itineraries in the event of unforeseeable circumstances (e.g., winery closures, roadworks, seasonal (harvest) opening limitations.
In cases of Force Majeure (natural disasters, strikes, or government action), amounts already paid will be reimbursed, but no further compensation for out-of-pocket expenses (flights, hotels) will be provided.
