EXPLORE OUR TOURS
Wine Tours
in Alsace, France
We create tours for serious, educated wine enthusiasts looking to explore and connect with the natural growing environment of the vines in Alsace.
We equip you with the facts; we accompany you to taste with the winemakers who make the wines; we guide you up the hills to see the views and contemplate from above what this land is about.
We want you to create memories that last.
Every guest on our tours will receive a Small, Practical Wine Guru on Wheels Printed Booklet with Alsace Essential Facts, Producers & Wine Styles to use for your personal tasting notes and future learning reference.

We are educated wine professionals, no tourist guides. We are happy if you want to come to Alsace to discover, taste wines, enjoy the food and have a wonderful time.
However, we are looking to provide guided wine education about the region for those wine enthusiasts who value a more personal approach: getting closer to the vineyards and spending time on them to learn, visit less known vignerons and winemakers, with more patience and time to give a first-hand experience.
-
We visit small producers with good wine vibes and time to take care of us. Small producers in less touristy villages tend to be more approachable and welcoming.
We are not fundamentally against the most well-known emblematic ones, so if you are curious about them, just let us know and we can try to arrange the itinerary accordingly. Especially if you are wine educated looking for visiting the Domaines you studied or you are a working wine professional.

You can choose to be based in Strasbourg, Barr or Colmar. All viable to reach the “Route du Vin” at ease.
For us, our ideal departing town for e-Bike activities is Colmar. As with anything in real estate, “location, location, location” is key!
Colmar is the center of the wine industry in Alsace and surrounded by a large concentration of the 51 in total Grand Cru vineyards. So variety in this case means better learning experiences and more diversity. If you want to be based in Strasbourg, Freiburg (Germany) or Basel (Switzerland) we can discuss the best transportation options for tours.
Colmar is accessible from Paris via train (from Strasbourg) or via Mulhouse from Basel (Switzerland).
Via car, transfer from many European cities if you fly to Strasbourg-Entzheim Airport or to EuroAirport (Basel - Mulhouse-Freiburg.
If you are driving your car: Google Maps will help you get there :-)

Mini-vans are fine for winter or rainy days and longer stays, so we cover more extensions of Alsace vineyards.
When we have the chance, we are pretty sure your legs might want to experience that climb. The reward of the view tastes sweeter and the closeness to the vines makes the experience more memorable and palpable.
You don’t go to the ocean to stay by the shore, do you? You enter the waters and feel.

All our cycling activities are open from April to October. During harvest in September, we have limitations regarding the producers we can visit - since they are focusing on the biggest activity of the year - but provided booking with anticipation tours are still accessible.
We can organise tours every day of the week (unless specific dates are described in the tour description page). On Sundays we also have a limited amount of open Domaines but tours can still be created - do not hesitate to ask.
Tours on mini-vans or cars are bookable all year-round.
From the end of November to Christmas many villages of Alsace become beautiful Xmas markets. They are great to visit but be aware that some towns are incredibly crowded and lively during weekends.

We provided a professional service and we will love to share Alsace with you irrespective of how many people are on the tour.
However, each tour requires a minimum number of participants to make it economically viable.
Published prices are used as guidance. For groups smaller or bigger than the minimum, please do not hesitate to ask.

As we look to personalise the tours as much as possible, we require at least two weeks (14 days) contact in advance, so we can organise bikes, transport, wineries and restaurant bookings. It is very difficult for us to organise a tour on short notice.
You can contact us via our website contact form, via email or via WhatsApp on +41794171478.
The earlier you book your tour, the better for us to organise your itinerary and experience.
